Golden Triangle Errands is an online board that connects people who need items picked up and delivered ("customers") with independent people who run those errands ("runners"). We do not run errands ourselves, and runners are not our employees.
The service is for errands and deliveries of goods only. Using it to arrange rides for people is not allowed and will get accounts closed.
Alcohol, tobacco and nicotine products, vapes, prescription medications, firearms, ammunition, and anything illegal may not be requested or delivered.
When you post an errand, a hold is placed on your card for the estimated items plus a 20% cushion, the delivery fee, tip and service fee. When the errand is delivered, you are charged the receipt amount plus fees, up to the hold amount, and the rest of the hold is released. Payments are processed by Stripe. Runners are paid the delivery fee, tip and reimbursement for items through Stripe. Runner memberships renew monthly until cancelled.
Deliveries confirm automatically 2 hours after the runner marks them delivered unless the customer reports a problem first. Reports are reviewed using the receipt photo, delivery photo, location and handoff PIN. Our decision on a report is final within the service. Customers with three reports found to be untrue lose the ability to post errands.
Runners are responsible for their own vehicles, insurance, taxes and safe driving. Everyone is responsible for their own judgment about who they meet. Do not accept an errand or open your door if you feel unsafe.
To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided as is, and we are not liable for the conduct of customers or runners or for losses beyond the fees we collected on the errand involved.
We store your name, email, phone number, town, errand details, receipt and delivery photos, and the runner's location at the moment of delivery. Your phone number and delivery address are shown only to the other person on an accepted errand and to administrators reviewing a problem. Card and bank details are handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers. We do not sell your information. To delete your account, contact us.
